Kathmandu Valley records 454 new COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley has reported 454 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at the regular press briefing, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that 386 persons in Kathmandu, 32 in Lalitpur and 36 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for the pandemic virus.

Similarly, the Ministry of Health and Population has recorded 1,359 new cases of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.

Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam shared this information at a regular press conference on Friday.

In the last 24 hours, 1,354 infected persons have recovered. With this, the number of people recovering from the COVID-19 has reached 25,561 across the country.

Dr. Gautam informed that 14 persons lost their lives to the virus in the last 24 hours. The death toll has reached 271 with the latest update in the country.
