40 test positive in swabs collected at checkpoints to Kathmandu Valley



KATHMANDU: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 40 people in swab samples collected at the entry points to Kathmandu Valley.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, most of the cases have been confirmed in people entering from Naagdhunga checkpoint.

A total of 16 people who entered through Naagdhunga tested positive, 13 in Sangha and 11 in Pharping, said Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam.

He said that 10,853 samples were collected at the checkpoints.
