15 CIAA staffers test positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU: As many as 15 staffers of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) have tested positive for coronavirus.

Epidemiology and Disease Control Division, Kathmandu, had collected swab samples of 182 government employees on Friday.

They were confirmed infected with the virus during tests at Teku Hospital.

Special safety measures have been adopted after 15 staffers, mainly police personnel, were diagnosed with coronavirus at CIAA.
