KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli is holding discussion with health experts today to seek their opinions whether or not to enforce lockdown amid the surge of COVID-19 cases across the country, including in Kathmandu.

The meeting to be participated by health experts, ministers, secretaries and experts in the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) will discuss the current situation and come out with a decision, sources said.

It should be recalled that PM Oli had held a discussion with health experts before lifting the nationwide lockdown.

Birgunj, Biratnagar as well as Kathmandu have reported a surge in the cases in recent days.
