Coronavirus cases jump to 614 in Parsa with 34 new cases



KATHMANDU: A total of 34 people including medical persons, Nepal Army personnel, and media persons have been infected with coronavirus in Birgunj of Parsa district.

The infected include two minors and four women are aged 14 to 56. They were confirmed to have been infected after their swab sample reports came out positive during PCR tests at Narayan Hospital on late Monday evening, said the hospital administration.

A 28-year-old female doctor of Surkhet working at National Medical College and a 34-year-old doctor of Birgunj-11 working at Narayani Bayodha Hospital are among those infected with the virus.

With this, the number of infection cases has reached 614 in Parsa district.
