PM Oli discusses with Cabinet ministers at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli is discussing recent political development and internal feuds in his party with Cabinet ministers on Saturday evening.

The Prime Minister’s Secretariat said that all the ministers and ministers of state have been called to Baluwatar, prime minister’s official residence, to discuss recent political development.

Earlier today, Oli reached Sheetal Niwas, the President’s Office this afternoon to meet President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

According to a source, the President and the Prime Minister had a one-and-a-half-hour meeting at Sheetal Niwas.

The prime minister, who is also the Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), discussed the recent political developments and internal disputes of the party and consulted with the President.

The prime minister has been holding discussions with President Bhandari in the recent days on internal feuds of the party and recent political developments.

PM Oli had reached Sheetal Niwas while six Secretariat members including Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ are holding a meeting in Khumaltar.

The intra-party wrangling in the ruling party has deepened further after Prime Minister Oli reiterated his stance for not leaving both the posts during a meeting with another Chairman Pushpa ‘Prachanda’ in Baluwatar on Friday morning.

The Dahal-Nepal camp has been demanding KP Oli’s resignation to settle the current intra-party dispute.
