RUKUM: Police have arrested a ward chairman on the charge of vandalizing a police post in West Rukum.

Police arrested Deepak KC, the ward chairman of Musikot-13, including two other youths for vandalizing the police post based at Chhiwangjyula in Musikot municipality-14.

The other arrested are Rajan KC and Khil Raj Giri, said police.

A team led by ward chairman KC had vandalized the police post on Tuesday night. They were at large following the incident.

The fugitives were arrested from Todke of Musikot-13.

DSP Thak Bahadur KC said an investigation is underway after a misdemeanor case against them.
