Politburo member Uma Bhujel of Biplav outfit arrested



GORKHA: Politburo member Uma Bhujel of outlawed Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav outfit) has been arrested.

The District Police Office, Gorkha took her under control on Wednesday. Kailali District Police Office had handed over her to Gorkha after arrest.

She had been arrested from Ajirkot rural municipality-4 of Sunsari in the last week of December, 2019.

She was produced at the District Court, Gorkha on Wednesday since an offence-against-peace case had been filed against her, said DSP Basudev Khatiwada of District Police Office, Gorkha.

“An offence-against-peace case had been filed against her,” he said, adding, “We have produced her at the court. She is also a jail breaker.”
