Expel Chinese nationals working illegally in Nepal: NRP Chair Gautam

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Republic Party (NRP) Siddhartha Gautam has demanded the government to expel Chinese nationals working illegally in Nepal.

Issuing a statement today, Gautam has asked the government to initiate an investigation on the Chinese nationals in Nepal.

Gautam’s statement comes at a time when Nepal Police arrested eight Chinese nationals for working illegally at the Gorkha-based Budhi Gandaki Hydropower Project operated by Naulo Nepal Hydropower Company.

He has also suggested the government to maintain cautiousness when Chinese nationals have been involved in illegal activities in Nepal in recent times.
