Indian PM Modi to desert social networking sites



KATHMANDU: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that he would remain inactive in social networking sites.

Posting a message on social networking sites on Monday evening, Modi said he will no longer be using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram effective from coming Sunday.

Meanwhile, his, supporters, friends and followers have suggested him not to give up social networking sites.

Modi has 40 million Facebook friends while his Twitter and Instagram accounts have 50 and 30 million followers respectively.
