MMC’s winning streak comes to an end



KATHMANDU: Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) faced defeat in the hands of Chyasal Youth Club in the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Monday.

It is first defeated for the team this season.

At the match played at the Saatdobato-based ANFA Complex, Chyasal defeated MMC 2-0.

Taiga Nakamura scored for Chyasal in the 24th minute of the game and Santosh Sahukhala added another goal in the injury time of the second half.

With the defeat, MMC squandered its chance to equalize with Tribhuvan Army Club in the points table.

MMC has 19 points from ten games as TSC has been placed first with 23 points from an equal 10 games.
