KATHMANDU: The meeting of the central working committee of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) on Sunday decided to convene the party’s general convention in coming on June 7 in Kathmandu.
The meeting also provisioned that all representatives for the general convention would be elected directly from the active party members within the respective state election constituencies. The meeting also demanded that the government takes stern action against those encouraging religious conversion.
Likewise, it was decided upon to launch a ‘Swabhiman Yatra’ to reinstate a Hindu state and reestablish democracy, and against corruption and unemployment. The RPP also asked the government to take initiatives to withdraw Indian army from Nepal’s Kalapani, get back Nepal’s encroached territories including Limpiyadhura, Lipulek, Kalapani and Susta and rescue and repatriate Nepalis living in coronovirus affected areas of China.
