PM Oli undergoes regular dialysis

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli underwent dialysis at the Maharajgunj-based Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center on Friday afternoon.

According to Personal Doctor to PM Oli, Dr. Dibya Singh, the prime minister is undergoing dialysis at the center located at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) premises.

PM Oli has been undergoing regular dialysis once a week for his kidney as the kidney that was transplanted some 12 years ago has stopped functioning properly.

Meanwhile, Dr. Singh said that no decision has been yet made on kidney re-transplantation on PM Oli.

“Dialysis is being performed on the prime minister once a week,” she told Khabarhub, “No decision has been so far made on re-transplantation.”
