KATHMANDU: Senior leader of Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Poudel is planning to go to Buldi to inaugurate a bridge today.

Police on Tuesday arrested Poudel while he was making preparations to inaugurate the Buldikhola bridge.

Tanahun District Administration imposed a prohibitory order to preempt possible clashes between the cadres of ruling Nepal Communist Party and Nepali Congress.

Police took Poudel under control after he went to Buldi breaching the prohibitory order. Poudel had been released from the police custody three hours after his arrest yesterday.
