13 injured as wedding vehicle meets with accident



DHANGADHI: As many as 13 people sustained injuries after a busferrying wedding attendants met with an accident at Gaimara in Godawari municipality in the district.

The vehicle was heading towards Kanchanpur from Baitadi when the incident took place.

Bridegroom 21-year-old Govinda Luhar of Belauri municipality-3, Kanchanpur and bride Dammara Luhar, 20, of Dogadakedar municipality-6, Baitadi sustained injuries in the accident.

The bridegroom sustained injuries to his head and the bride to his her hand, according to District Police Office, Kanchanpur.

The condition of the two among those injured is said to be critical. Police have rescued the injured and taken to Attariya-based Padma Hospital and Dhangadhi-based Maya Metro Hospital.
