US records 2,727 COVID-19 deaths in past 24 hrs



WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 14,299,367 in the United States of America after 188,853 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 5,574,458 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 8,445,146 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 279,763 with 2,727 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has killed 1,498,182 and infected 64,801,424 globally until the filing of this news.
