Province 2 sees four deaths, 59 new cases of coronavirus today

JANAKPURDHAM: Province 2 has witnessed four deaths and 59 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to Province Health Directorate of Province 2, a 50-year-old male of Dhobini-4, Parsa, a 76-year-old male of Birgunj-5 Reshamkothi, a 62-year-old male of Agnisair Krishnasavaran-5, and a 53-year-old male of Hanuman Nagar Kankalini-2 of Saptari have died on Tuesday.

The province saw 59 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

Acting Director of the Health Directorate, Bijaya Jha informed that the province saw 18 new cases in Dhanusha, 6 in Mahottari, 9 in Siraha, 2 in Sarlahi, 4 each in Rautahat, Bara and Parsa, and 9 in Saptari today.

He informed that other districts outside the province saw 3 cases.

Including the Tuesday cases, the province has got 1,211 active cases of coronavirus now.

The province got 94 discharged after recovery today.
