KATHMANDU: Commenting on the ongoing political crisis in the ruling Nepal Communist Party and the overall politics here, the Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Kamal Thapa has remarked that cosmetic change doesn’t help the country come out from the present crisis.

Hinting at the attempts for the government change, RPP Leader Thapa has reiterated that as substituting  PM KP Oli with Prachanda, Madhav Nepal or Sher Bahadur Deuba or Nepal Communist Party with  Nepali Congress or Nepal Communist Party, the country should go for a referendum to help it come out from the prevalent impasse.

In his tweets made on Tuesday, Thapa has cited that the government has caused an imbalance in the foreign policy and has spoilt the harmonious relationship with India and China.

He has lambasted the ruling NCP and the main opposition Nepali Congress for the corruption and sharing of the posts irrespective of the corruption scams one after another.

“It’s high time Nepali people should rethink the political road-map and the destination,” Thapa has tweeted, “There should be a referendum on seeking the alternate to secularism, republicanism and know about the sentiments of the people.”
