NC to lower party flag at half-mast to mourn KC’s demise

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to fly the party flag at half-mast for three days to mourn the demise of central committee member and former lawmaker Surya Bahadur KC.

A meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the main opposition party held on Tuesday also decided to close all party offices on Wednesday and keep condolence books for 13 days.

KC, 63, breathed his last at his residence in Pokhara Monday night. He was suffering from diabetes and hypertension for a long time.
