NCP leaders Poudel and Rawal discuss way out of party crisis

KATHMANDU: At a time when Nepal Communist Party (NCP) heavyweights are flexing their muscles for power, influencial leaders of the party General Secretary Bishnu Poudel and Standing Committee Member Bhim Rawal have held talks to explore a way out of the ongoing political deadlock of the ruling NCP.

According to NCP sources, Poudel and Rawal have discussed the party dispute in a room in Rastriya Sabha Griha.

Rawal is often seen coming heavily on Prime  Minister KP Oli especially for derailing from the patriotic agenda and his political standpoint while General Secretary Poudel has been defending the Oli government irrespective of the  decisions made by the government.

On Sunday, Poudel, in his tweet, had mentioned that the party has reached at a critical juncture and the unity is at stake.
