30-yr-old man dies of COVID-19 in Dharan



SUNSARI: A COVID-19 infected man has died in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

A 30-year-old man of Mahadewa-6, Saptari, currently staying at Dharan Sub Metropolitan City-18, died at 5:40 pm on Monday.

The patient’s swab test result had come positive yesterday itself, according to Dr Ashish Shrestha, the deputy spokesperson of the hospital.

He was admitted to the emergency ward of the Hospital after being diagnosed with the virus.

He passed away while making preparations to admit him to the COVID-19 Hospital for further treatment, said Dr Shrestha. The deceased had no any chronic ailments.
