NC leader Gagan Thapa diagnosed COVID-19 positive

KATHMANDU: Some Nepali Congress (NC) leaders, including lawmaker and former Health Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa, have been confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

The infection was confirmed during a test conducted by the party for the Central Committee meeting, Thapa told Khabarhub.

He said his health condition was normal and he was staying at home.

According to sources, the coronavirus infection has been confirmed in some other leaders. However, it is still unclear how many leaders have been infected.

NC’s Central Committee meeting has been called for the coming Monday.
