Don’t visit Kathmandu unless emergency, urges Health Ministry



KATHMANDU: The government has urged people not to visit Kathmandu Valley expect in case of emergencies.

The Ministry of Health and Population has urged people not to come to Kathmandu saying that the rate of the coronavirus infection in the Valley is increasing at an alarming rate.

Speaking at the regular press briefing on Saturday, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at the Ministry said, “The Ministry requests people not to come to Kathmandu immediately as the rate of infection is increasing here.”

It should be noted that Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,177 cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours.
