COVID-19 claims one more woman in Biratnagar



MORANG: One more person has died from coronavirus in Biratnagar at the wee hours of Saturday.

An elderly woman of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-3 succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at Koshi Zonal Hospital at 2 am today, said Gyan Bahadur Basnet, manager of COVI-19 Treatment Center of the hospital.

The woman, who had been admitted to the hospital after testing positive for the virus on September 27, breathed her last this morning, confirmed Dr Deepak Sigdel, chief of the Center.

Sigdel informed that the deceased was also suffering from chronic asthma and cough.
