18 persons, including Chief Attorney General of Province 1 test positive for COVID-19



MORANG: As many as 18 persons, including Chief Attorney General of Province 1, Chudamani Acharya have tested positive for coronavirus.

The infected ones also include three members Acharya’s family living in Biratnagar Metropolitan City Ward No. 5.

Among those infected are 3 from Biratnagar Ward No. 5; 7 from State Police Office Biratnagar; 4 from Biratnagar-7, and 1 from Biratnagar-6.

Similarly, 30-year-old and 36-year-old females of Biratnagar-7; 25-year-old male and 45-year-old male of Biratnagar-7, and 24-year-old male from Biratnagar-6 have been infected, said Ramesh Karki, Chief at Public Health Division of Biratnagar Metropolitan City.

Likewise, two people working in Koshi Hospital and a person working in Virat Medical College have also been tested positive for the pandemic virus.

With this, the number of infected people in Biratnagar Metropolitan City has reached 138.
