Coronavirus kills over 61,000 in Brazil



KATHMANDU: Over 61,000 people have died from coronavirus in Brazil.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, the deadly virus has killed 1,277 in the last 24 hours taking the toll to 61,990 as of Friday morning.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, over 61,000 have lost their lives from the novel coronavirus so far.

With 47,984 infection cases in a single day, the number of infection cases has reached 1,501,335 so far.

Meanwhile, 916,147 people have recovered from the COVID-19 while 523216 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country.
