Woman who died at Baitadi quarantine tests COVID-19 negative



BAITADI: The coronavirus report of a woman who died in quarantine in Baitadi has come negative.

Yogesh Prasad Bhatta, head of the health office in Baitadi, said that the reports of four other people who were in quarantine along with the deceased woman were also negative.

Similarly, the report of the deceased woman’s husband and an 18-month-old child and two others has also come negative.

The swab sample the woman who died in the quarantine and of four other people who were in contact with her was sent to Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi for PCR on Tuesday.

After the report of the deceased woman came negative, her body was handed over to her relatives for cremation, said Bhatta.
