Outline Susta in revised map of Nepal: locals

NAWALPARASI: Locals of Susta have demanded that the government clearly outline the area of Susta in the newly revised map of Nepal.

They have appealed to the government that it should raise the issue of encroached territory of Susta while raising the issue of disputed Kalapani, Limpiyadhura and Lipu Lekh.

Locals have claimed that over 14,500 hectors of land of Susta rural municipality, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta West) have been encroached by India.

A border pillar should be erected in the encroached land after clearly demarcating the Nepali territory, said Gopal Gurung, chairman of Save Susta Campaign.
