124 Netherlanders return home on Malaysian airbus

KATHMANDU: As many as 124 Netherlanders have returned home due to the ongoing lockdown clamped on Nepal to stem the coronavirus spread.

They have returned home in a chartered airbus of Malaysian Airlines on Thursday morning.

Earlier, Australia, America, France and Germany had airlifted their citizens stranded in Nepal to their respective countries.

The wide-body airbus of the NAC airlifted the citizens of Australia while that of Qatar Airways had flown citizens of other countries.
