HoR second session put off in lack of quorum

KATHMANDU: The second session of the House of Representatives (HR) on Monday was postponed due to a lack of quorum.

Speaker Agni Saokota announced the postponement of the session in accordance with Article 94 of the constitution till 1:00 pm of March 4, citing lack of quorum.

The required quorum has to be 69 in the HoR to run the session. However, only 65 lawmakers were present.
