KATHMANDU: Police arrested a man in possession of 4.8 kilograms of hashish from Nagdhunga of Chandragiri Municipality-2.

The arrested has been identified as 59-year-old Bhagawan Khatri of Thaha Municipality-7, Makwanpur.

A squad of Metropolitan Police Sector, Nagdhunga arrested Khatri with the banned drug while he was coming to Kathmandu by a TATA Sumo, Na 1 Ja 5371 during a security check on Wednesday.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking Khatri into custody.
