KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader and Secretariat Member Ishwar Pokharel has said the NCP is on the verge of split due to the foul game played by the ‘former group’.

Posting a twitter message on Monday, Pokharel has stated that it is unfortunate to find a group bent on splitting the party by making an equation based on the former group.

Pokharel, here, has referred to the incumbent party’s executive chairman by the terms ‘former group.’

“The NCP is on the verge of split due to the foul game played by the former group in the party against the agreement for party unification, ”  said Pokharel in his tweet.

Meanwhile, Pokharel has appealed to all the party rank and file to make contributions from their sides to keep the party intact.
