Man held in connection with Mukesh’s murder



KATHMANU: Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Parsa district member of ruling Nepal Communist Party Mukesh Chaurasiya.

Police arrested 32-year-old Niranjan Tiwari alias Uttam of  Bindabasini rural municipality-4, Madhawal of Parsa district.

Tiwari, who had gone absconding after committing a crime, was arrested from Birgunj-16, Inarwa, said SP Ganga Panta of Parsa district.

Chaurasiya had sustained critical injuries in a clash that took place between two groups in Bindawasini rural municipality on October 22.

Critically injured Chaurasiya had died in the course of treatment in Birgunj on October 23.
