India COVID-19 death toll surpasses 99,000-mark



KATHMANDU: India recorded 81,693 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 6,391,960.

Currently, 943,503 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 5,348,653 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 99,000-mark.

With 1,096 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 99,804, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
