Academic year will not be affected: Minister Pokhrel



KATHMANDU: Minister of Education Giriraj Mani Pokhrel said the government will ensure that the current academic year is not wastes due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Minister Pokhrel said this during a virtual meeting with office bearers of the student wing of the ruling Nepal Communist Party.

It may be noted that several schools are conducting online classes.

Minister Pokhrel hinted at the possibility of reducing the course content for this academic year.

According to him, the government was working on a guideline to ensure alternative models of learning.
