Japan PM Abe hopeful of further developing Nepal-Japan friendship



KATHMANDU: Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has wished Nepal-Japan traditional friendship will further developed.

Taking to Twitter, Abe has also thanked Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Oli for his “warm words”.

PM Oli had earlier wished Japan PM Abe for his speedy recovery and good health.

It may be noted that Abe has already announced his resignation citing health reasons.

PM Abe has been suffering from ulcerative colitis, an inflammatory bowel disease.

Abe has become Japan’s longest-serving Prime Minister. His current period in office started in 2012.
