Sunsari records new 67 coronavirus cases



ITAHARI: As many as 67 people have been infected with coronavirus in Sunsari district.

The newly infected are 58 from Itahari Sub Metropolitan City, seven are from Dharan, and one each from Bhokraha and Inaruwa, informed Sirjana Lingthep, the focal person from of Sunsari.

They were confirmed infected with the virus during swab tests at the laboratory of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan on Monday morning (11 am) and Tuesday evening.

Sixty males and seven females are among those infected.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 830. According to Lingthep, 385 have returned home while six people have died from coronavirus in Sunsari district.
