Landslide claims one in Palpa

PALPA: A woman died when landslide buried her at Tinau rural municipality-3 in Palpa district on Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Samikshya Somai, 29 of Mathagadhi rural municipality-7, according to Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Palpa, Madan Giri. She died while undergoing treatment at Butwal-based Lumbini City Hospital.

Karishma, three-year-old daughter of the deceased, was also injured in the incident, and she is receiving treatment at the same hospital. RSS
