Govt urges senior citizens and children to stay indoors



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has urged senior citizens above the age of 60 and children below 12 to not come out of their houses to avoid the risk of coronavirus infection.

Spokesperson at the Ministry, Dr Jageshwor Gautam urged senior citizens and children to not come out of their houses as people have started moving out in large numbers.

The ministry has also instructed concerned authorities to stop using the Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs) form now onward.
