Speaker Sapkota tests negative for COVID-19



KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and all the staff and security personnel working in his secretariat have tested negative for coronavirus.

A total of 30 swabs were collected and tested after a policeman, who was assigned for the security of the Speaker, was found infected with COVID-19.

According to the Speaker’s Secretariat, the report of all swab samples came negative on Saturday night.

A highly placed source had told Khabarhub that the policeman was confirmed with coronavirus on Friday. He used to stay at the Nepal Police Headquarters and was on duty before July 21.
