Isolation, quarantines go empty in Manang



MANANG: Temporary quarantines and isolation centers established for keeping people with COVID-19 infection and the suspected cases have now turned empty in the district.

These centers remained empty after only one infected returned home after complete health recovery. A 57-year-old infected male got discharged from the hospital on Monday.

According to district health office chief Badri Acharya, the male was returned home after 11 days’ stay in hospital. He tested negative for COVID-19 in the test carried out through PCR method and was sent home, Acharya added.

A total of 30 people were tested employing the PCR method and 29 were tested negative for COVID-19 while one tested positive so far in the district.

Though there were 93-bed quarantines and seven-bed isolation centers in the district, all are empty these days.
