Six gamblers including two women held in Pokhara



POKHARA: Kaski Police has arrested six people including two women on the charge of gambling in Pokhara Metropolitan City.

They were caught while they were taking part in gambling in the house of Rima Gurung based in Pokhara Metropolitan City-17, Titepani Raniwan, said DSP Subas Hamal, the spokesperson for District Police Office, Kaski.

The arrested are house owner Gurung, 36, Muna Gurung, 41, 31-year-old Liladhar Subedi of Chhorepatan, Rajman Gurung,30, Dilprasad Gurung, 38, and Deep Basnet and Khem Gurung of Pokhara-6.

Police have seized Rs 47,100 along with other paraphernalia from the gambling den.
