KATHMANDU: A Chinese plane circled skies over Mt. Everest on Tuesday in violation of a rule that no foreign aircraft can enter the airspace without the permission of the country concerned.

Kanak Mani Dixit, a senior journalist, tweeted on social media Twitter that a Chinese plane Beechcraft B300C aircraft with registration ‘B-10TR’ flew at an altitude of 33,800 feet on Tuesday morning.

The aircraft entered Nepal’s airspace this morning and flew at an altitude of 33,800 feet. The aircraft had left Nepal’s airspace and returned to China at around 10:30 am.
