KATHMANDU: Eight lawmakers of the main opposition party in the parliament Nepali Congress (NC) have re-registered a constitution amendment bill that had failed ratification earlier.
The bill was formerly unable to get ratification during then Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government.
“As per the party’s Central Committee decision, we have registered the constitution amendment bill,” lawmaker Amresh Kumar Singh told Khabarhub.
