22-yr-old woman dies in Baitadi quarantine



KAILALI:  A 22-year-old woman who was staying in quarantine of Malika Secondary School in  Puchaudi Municipality-4, Baitadi has died.

The woman, who had been suffering from cardiac-related ailment for a long time, passed away on Tuesday morning, said Binod Kunwar, in-charge of Heath Department of Purchaudi Municipality.

“She had come to quarantine on May 31 and passed away on Monday night,” said he.

Swabs of the deceased, her 18-month old son, husband and a relative have been collected, according to Kunwar.

The victim had recently returned to Nepal after undergoing treatment in India.
