Immunoglobulin detection tests are based on the qualitative detection of IgM and IgG that are specifically generated by the body in response to SARS-CoV-2 infection.

The deal to purchase the kits has been reached when questions have been raised over the accuracy of such kits. India has already banned the use of rapid testing kits procured from China due to their poor quality.
