Coronavirus kills 24, 543, infects 239,639 in Spain



KATHMANDU: Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 239,639 after the United States of America (USA).

The country reported 2,740 infection cases, 268 deaths in the last 24 hours. A total of 24, 543 have died due to the novel virus as of Friday morning.

Currently, 77, 112 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 2,676 are critical.

Meanwhile, 132, 929 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 233,814 and infecting 3,303,850 people as of Friday morning.
