US tops list of COVID-19 cases with 189, 633

KATHMANDU: With the coronavirus going pandemic across the world, America has topped the list of the countries infected with the deadly virus.

According to the latest figures collated by Johns Hopkins University, the total number of infected cases has reached 189, 633 in America. Sixty two new cases were reported in the 24 hours.

Similarly the condition of 4, 576 among 177, 285 who are currently undergoing treatment is critical. A total of 7, 251 people have recovered after treatment.

America has the third highest number of deaths. The death toll has reached 4, 056 after three more died in the last 24 hours.  Italy tops the list of deaths with 12, 428 followed by Spain with 8, 464.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, coronavirus has already to 202 countries, killing 42, 365 and infecting 861,305 people so far.
