1,407 people quarantined in Sudur Paschim province



DHANGADI: As many as 1,407 people have been staying in quarantine in Sudur Paschim province.

The province government along with local level, and the Nepali Army has established a quarantine that accommodates 3,660 people.

According to Narendra Karki, Health Division Chief at Ministry of Social Development, some 2,364 Nepalis have arrived in the province as foreign returnees in the last fourteen days.

The government has made it mandatory for the foreign country-returnees, including from India and other countries, to stay at the quarantine centers for 14 days.

Similarly, 23 people are staying in quarantine at the local levels while 52 people have been discharged after having a normal health test.

They have been released as they urged the government to stay in home quarantine.
