Rs 500 additional allowance to health workers



POKHARA: Madi rural municipality of Kaskti district has announced to provide an additional allowance to the staffers deployed in the health sector.

A meeting of the rural municipality held on Sunday decided to provide Rs 500 each to the staffer working day and night for the service for the people.

“The rural municipality has decided to provide Rs 500 each as incentive to the staffers working for the service of the people,” said Bed Bahadur Gurung, chief of the rural municipality.”

Similarly, the rural municipality has decided to insure those working on the contract basis for Rs 1 million against the COVID-19.

All the 12 wards of the rural municipality have been under lockdown to control the furhter spread of the coronavirus.

Similarly, the municipality has put 23 foreign-returnees under quarantine.
